Thursday, June 12th

Everything is going well for Brian at Hoag. His calcium levels are down from earlier this week and he's pee'ing up a storm and eating 3 healthy meals a day!

I would say the highlight of Brian's day was getting a sponge bath from me (whoo wooo!) and getting a good report from his oncologist saying he's pleased with his progress. Brian also got his kidney's checked out and they were clear with no stones (which high calcium levels can cause)

The plan is still to keep Brian at Hoag until Saturday or until his calcium levels are normal again. He's very comfortable and has a whole staff catering to him.

Thanks for all the support. I'll get Brian back on the blog once he's home as Hoag doesn't have Wi-Fi (der!!!??)

Brian looked great Thursday, never heavy, but always a "solid" looking dude, the kind you'd select for your team in a pick up game - and you still would! Anna delivered his RAIDER cap today - that's my guess on the day's highlight.

HRP/Valley Crest was there in force today, class outfit.

Beating back the calcium buildup is just the start of your bodies victories Brian, they've hit you with the most aggressive treatments they've got and you are hanging tough! Raider "pride and poise", it's showing thru, keep it up!

The collective thoughts and prayers are focused on you from

No WiFi-OMG you gotta be going through withdrawal bigtime!

On a different sport note, did you know that Ashley Force is 85 points ahead of her father John Force in the Powerade Drag Racing Series! Way to go Ashley-woohoo!!!

And, of the top 7 top fuel cars, 4 of them are built by Brad Hadman-a distant cousin of mine. Way to go Brad-woohoo again!

Ok now go and flush that calcium and get some geek time in...

Love,

Linda (Jan's friend)
