Monday June 2nd

All Support Team Members,

Thanks you all for  your comments of encouragement, comedy and prayers. I am starting to feel better from last Friday's chemo treatment.

I bought Lazyboy recliner Saturday and Glen from my office took me for a ride in his Hot Rod which was a lot of fun. I just finished my last radiation treatment and will find out the results in 6 - 8 weeks when I get another MRI.

Thank all of you for your support.

Big B

Brian, Hey, the VW bug convert is ready for another taxi hop if you need it. You're a brave one, taking in that cocktail for over 4 hours, who can keep drinking like that.. like you said, let's do it..
and if a black man can run for the hot seat, than miracles do happen, so I believe in miracles too..
a lazy boy with a fridge, what is this world coming to...Hugs, Jannie

Brian and Anna, We had a nice relaxing Saturday night with your Mom and Dad. We were finally able to read your blog. It is perfect for sharing information. Don't enjoy that recliner too much you might turn into Uncle Tom with NASCAR. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day, we love you. Brian, hang in there, you can beat this!

Hey Brian and Anna,
Karen and I are back, (Finally! after WAY too many hours on the road yesterday), and it is great to be able to check the blog for updates. We are so happy to be able to be updated without thinking that we are putting additional pressure on either of you to reply directly to us. Great idea and thanks for the extra work it takes.

I'll be in touch about coming down to see you. I can come almost any time, but I want to make sure it works for you both.

Love and hugs,

Brad and Karen

Brian,
Just got back from Raiderland. The stadium is waiting for us. John/Mandy and there little indians are a wild bunch. Sent Anna some pictures. The northern Nelsons are really looking forward to their July trip south. Glad you are feeling okay and have a new "nesting" place in front of the TV.

Dear Brian,
You have the strength of mind and heart to face this hell of a thing we call cancer. Remember, ATTITUDE is EVERYTHING.
And you are one of the most AUDACIOUS people that I know. You are bold, spirited and original.
All my strength and heart is behind you.
Love, Trish Shahbazi

Hi Brian,

I'm glad to have the opportunity to keep in touch with you through this blog. Melissa and I want you to know that you are ion our thoughts and we wish you a full and speedy recovery. I don;t know if you are a fan or not but I hope you have a chance to try out the Bob and Ray tapes. If you like them I have lots more. I truly believe in the power of laughter and this will do the trick. I cannot relate to youe chemo and radiation sessions and what that must be like but I did crank up the Bobn and Ray in my headphones during some heavy duty oral surgery a few years ago and it was very effective. But then I am a great fan.

So please take care and I'll see you soon.

Trish commented on attitude - She understands what it takes! Some ptotential converts are bloggers here as well, they are seeing thru your eyes Brian, the attitude that is mandatory for a Raider Fan is building here, that's a powerful will and spirit that will strengthen your soul.

You are taking the fight forward - so what if you are facing an "all star" accross the line from you - "all star" just means he was good "last year" - this is YOUR YEAR! The cocktail is like the snap of the ball - GAME ON! - and one you will win - with Attitude!

So says

The Raider Nation

Hey Brian,

The Arnold Palmer Design Company and Arnold are pulling for you. We wish especially you and also your bride, Jim and Judy the best always. We look forward to seeing you at Rolling Hills and other projects soon. Maybe somehow we can catch the Jaguars killing the Raiders. Push the bad stuff out pal. There is no room in that big body because of all the good in you. Peace, Erik
