Wednesday, June 4th

Well, Brian powered through days #2 and #3 of chemo pretty well so days #4 and #5 have been a breeze. He's riding his stationary bike each day for 30 min to keep his stamina up and so far so good. He goes back Friday for round #2 but it should be fairly manageable seeing that they are only giving Brian one type of chemo instead of two like last week....

Today, my company approved for me to scale-back on my work hours a bit so I can be home more and be more available for Dr's appts. Thank you TCA!

Brian commited to buying 1/2 of his season tickets to the Oakland Raiders today (my brother bought the other 1/2) so that gives him a true goal for September - opening game against the Broncos (yeah...good luck on that!!)

All in all, we are so blessed with all the people who love Brian!!

Aside from the Raiders' tickets, John next purchase should be a plane ticket down to see the two of you. We all are in support of that up here! xo, Mandy, JJ and Mitch.

Big B,

What up bro? Since I am getting a divorce I thought I would share in your pain with laughter.

An old man goes to the Wizard to ask him if he can remove a curse he has been living with for the last 14 years. The Wizard says, "Maybe, but you will have to tell me the exact words that were used to put the curse on you." The old man says without hesitation, "I now pronounce you man and wife."

bwahahaha

Great photo! And it sounds like this next round of chemo won't be too bad. Anna, so glad you can lighten up on the work schedule a bit, I'm sure that will help lots. Hope to get to see you guys soon. Love you, Linda K

Nice Shot! Did the lazy boy come with a sidebag that holds two remotes and a soda?

Keep up with the bike, you want to do everything in your power to beat this pre-season opponent you are facing.

Then remember to be "nice" to that gal of yours after the NATION thumps the ponies in week 1.

Go Raider Fan!

Karen and I had dinner with Frances and Hugh tonight, and she said that she spoke with you a bit on the phone today. It's great that you two got to talk, and we both want to come down and say "Hi" soon, so I'll call you two over the weekend to see what's up re: that. Hope all goes well with your treatment tomorrow!
